With many states in the U.S. suffering through record droughts, and at least 12 states battling devastating brush fires, maybe this year we should put away the fireworks.
As many of you already know, we are one week into National Kite Month. If you have a kite festival coming to your area, take advantage of the opportunity and go fly, have fun, and show your support. Not sure if you have a festival in your area? You can find out by calling your local kite shop or by going to the American Kitefliers Association website (http://www.aka.kite.org/events/calendar) for a complete list of AKA sanctioned events. Remember, you don't need a kite festival to have fun though. So go outside and enjoy yourself! National Kite Month won't last forever!

Took the Liquid Checks Flo-Tail Delta by Premier to the beach today and it was one of the easiest kites I have ever launched. Assembly took almost a minute and it flew like a champ! Vivid colors and the taffeta tails truly had the characteristics of flowing liquid. Awesome kite! Awesome fun!
